8-1-11

It's officially the start of my last few days in Omaha before summer ends (thank god), and I couldn't be happier.

Like I mentioned earlier, I'm just tired. Not only physically tired due to the heat and just general lack of sleep, but I'm mentally tired.

I mean, I just... it's hard to explain. I just feel in a rut, I guess. I don't even know if there's a specific reason to, but I just do. I'm sick of summer, I'm sick of people being people, and I'm just sick of having to deal with shit.

And I know once school starts, none of this will happen, except maybe on the weekends, but I'm alright with that because it's not every god damn day like it is in the summer.

Honestly, there's more fighting and talking behind people's backs in this group that I've been hanging out with this summer than there is in my group of girl friends, and that's saying something because there's been some outrageous stuff that happened with them.

I mean, you literally can not go one day without someone fighting, or someone being a complete dick to someone for no reason. It's ridiculous, and I just can't stand it anymore. Now, not everyone is like this, but a few people are, and I get that everyone has flaws, but it's just ridiculous most of the time and I hate it.

And worst of all people always come to me when they have problems... and that in itself is a gift and a curse. A gift because I feel happy that people have the confidence to confide in me with their problems, and a curse because I feel like I have to live with their burden until it gets sorted out.

Ugh.

I just can't wait for it to be Friday, so I can go to Adventureland with my best friends, and then on Saturday I can see my other best friends, and then it can be Sunday, where I finally go to the place where there's no judging, no fighting, no nothing. Just living and having fun.

That's why I love going to Camp so much. Everyone respects each other, no matter how old you are, what you look like, or where you're from. Everyone is there to have a good time, and no one feels the need to ruin it because they're not having the funnest time. It's great. You can be yourself, get away from the real world, and have the most fun you've had all year while you're at it.

I just love it. So much.

So, for now, I'm out. See you all tomorrow.
