---Realized that I saved this as a draft, and never actually published it, so I'm doing so now.---

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one's around to hear it, does it make a noise? If you're in a room, and the only thing in the room is you, and a table in front of you, then you turn around, is the table still there?

We have no way of ever answering these questions... what if, things only appear to us because we want them to? Because they serve some sort of purpose for us? Or maybe they don't, and they're just some type of filler that's connected to everything else around us? Everything, every molecule, every body of water, is connected somehow. Can I prove that? No way. Can anyone discredit it? No way.

Crazy stuff. What if that is true though? That everything we see around us is just a projection of what our brain wants to see?

On a kind of related note, I'm going to get Stephen Hawking's "The Grand Design" soon. And I'm going to read it. That man's a genius. I can't wait to read it. I do believe in God though. Not like a, "God made people and there's no evolution and if you're not a good Christian you're going to hell, God hates gays" type of religious person. I do believe in science. Is that weird? Like, I believe in both science and god...

I do believe in evolution. I don't think there's any way that there was just people one day, since there's so much evidence that people evolved from other organisms. Like, god put the first life on earth with the right environment to evolve, which they did.

Some people are probably gonna get me totally wrong on this. And maybe I'm not making any sense. It makes sense in my head, but maybe just not when I go to put it down in to words.

Hm. I'll think of a good analogy for what I believe eventually.
