Sup!
Just wanted to say right now that Pulp Fiction is a great movie. I just watched it for the first time today. Finished it about 20 minutes ago actually...
Anyway, the story of how we (3 friends and I) got the movie is quite interesting.
It all started when we went to Hy-Vee, and got some hashbrowns and Lunchables. After that, we went to the mall since there's a movie store there to look and see if they had the movie, and they didn't. So, we went to Best Buy to look for it instead since they have a pretty broad selection of movies.
We found it, listened to some of the headphones and car stereos they have on display, then went to go check out. Let me take time to note that none of us are 17, and Pulp Fiction is indeed an R-rated movie.
So we're about to check out... and the cashier asks Michael for an ID. Well. He doesn't have one. Or, should I say, "doesn't have one".
The guy checking out next to us looks over and says, "What's the problem?" so we say, "We're trying to buy this movie but he forgot his ID." so the man says, "Here, is it okay if I just buy it for you?" and the cashier is just like, "I guess so."
So he does. We're all just like, "Oh my god thank you so much!" and he goes, "Yup!" then walks out the door like nothing happened.
Random acts of kindness for the win.
