The first track I have is from this band called No Bird Sing from Minnesota. It always seems like some of the best music I've ever heard comes from there. That, and the Rhymesayers record label, which is largely based out of MN. Anyway, this song is called Plastic Lines by No Bird Sing.

There's not much to say about this song other than, 1. It's incredibly amazing and 2. It's super relaxing, which I always, always love in a song. Please, check these guys out, they're insanely talented and don't have much support as far as I know!
The second song I have is one called Rain Water by Brother Ali. Have you ever heard/seen an albino rapper this great as Brother Ali? Neither have I. Seriously, this dude is one of the most amazing lyricists that I've ever listened to. Also in the Rhymesayers... I'm seeing a trend.

Brother Ali, check him out.
The third thing I have isn't just one song, it's a whole album that comes out tomorrow, but which I pre-ordered to be able to listen to it for today's post.
What is it?
It's the new Atmosphere album, of course! It's called The Family Sign. And, from what I'm hearing... it's AMAZING. The Last to Say (the second track) on here, is just, beyond words.
Here's some lyrics from that song:
"As far back as he cares to remember / He used to see the old man lose his temper / And momma’s pretty face’d catch it all / On a regular basis the nest would fall / But he was always safe from dad’s rage / Cuz momma’d sacrifice in his place / Two dozen years of the blood, sweat and tears / Avoiding the mirror, losing her hair for the fear / She never left him, stayed inside / He beat her ass up until the day that he died / In fact, the biggest beating was the day that he died / Cuz now it’s too late for her to make a new life / She gets to mourn for the touch of a punch / Won’t ever admit that she ain’t clutching at much / Someday she’ll die, it still won’t be done / The anger lives on through their son.”
Good lord Slug has so much talent. I can't forget about Ant, too though. And there's also 2 other guys in the band, I forgot their names, but they're just as important!
Really though, this album is just. Wow.
Thanks for reading and baring with my taste in music, especially if you don't like the kind of music that I do. When it comes to new music in general, I just try to keep an open mind, I hope you do the same.
