Friday. Ah. TGIF... could mean, "Thank god it's Friday!" or, my favorite, "Thank god I'm fresh!"

I learned that the head girl's varsity basketball coach at my school quit today.. I thought it was an April Fools joke at first but he was serious. Him and his assistant quit. So, someone's going to have to take his place... the reason why he left is because he's going to be an assistant principal at the elementary school that he teaches at, and you can't be both an AP and a basketball coach for some reason.

His assistant quit because she's pregnant. Oh well.

He was kind of an intense/scary/intimidating guy, and he was like 4 inches shorter than me.

I'm a bit happy he left the year before I was going to play for/under him because he was honestly a big factor of why I didn't really want to play. He did do some really good things with the program (like summer camps, off-season leagues, and open gyms) and it's going to be hard for the next coach to take his place.
