Suuuuuuuuuuuup!
How was everyone's Monday? Mine was pretty darn good!
School went by extremely fast for some reason, it seriously felt like I just blinked in the morning, and school was over. That was awesome.
But, we have this big project in World History called the "UN Day Project" which is where 3 or 4 kids in a class get assigned a country from the UN, and they have to research it, doing presentations, and eventually end up making a children's type book about their country. My group got New Zealand. Normally this wouldn't be significant, but... my teacher just happens to be from New Zealand. I'm kind of scared to get anything wrong, haha. Oh well. I'll just keep on keepin' on.
Second, my friend Heath and I turned in our applications at Subway, Jimmy John's Wingstop, and Red Mango today! I also got Grand Theft Auto 4.
Then after that little expenditure my mom, brother, friends Chad and Kellie, their mom, and my mom's boyfriend all went out to eat at this little local restaurant downtown. After that we went to the Creighton basketball game! It was so much fun.
They're in the CBI tournament and they played 1 out of the 3 championship games they have in this tourney. They played Oregon though, which is really really ironic, because Creighton's head coach who moved last year went to Oregon this year. When they introduced him (Dana Altman) he got a standing ovation. I thought that was really cool. They applauded him but booed the Nebraska head basketball coach who happened to also be there... I was so confused. Doc Sadler is one of the most respectable men in all of college basketball. He's a great person.
Anyway. It was a good day. Way to start out the amazing week right... why is this week amazing? Because I'm seeing Macklmore x Ryan Lewis and Blueprint on Thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so beyond excited, I've been looking forward to this day since about January. I already saw Mack once in Lincoln as an opener for Big Boi and he was so amazing. I said, "Man, I can't wait until he's the headliner of his own show!" that night, and now he is!
Incredible.
