Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day! I had a pretty busy one. But only not at all. Actually, it was semi-busy. That's beside the point though. I don't think many people really get what this day is about. They just see it as another day we get off of school. That's cool for them, I guess.
I bought some incense yesterday. Only because they smell delicious. I'm not even sure if I'll ever even light them. We'll see.
Man. I feel like my mind is just scattered today. I'm thinking about so much that I really have no real sense of organization when it comes to writing. That's kind of what happens all the time. Not just today. So, if my paragraphs ever seem random and unrelated to the previous one, you know why.
There's a show on called Skins right now. It's a remake of the UK version. It seems like America can never really come up with anything good on their own. Especially when it comes to horror movies. They're always either a remake or have some type of collaboration with someone from another country. And if they don't, they're terrible.
I just finished the book, "The Road" by Cormac McCarthy that I wrote about the other day. It was pretty good. I didn't really feel that connected to it though since the characters really didn't develop over the story, but maybe that was the point. I mean, you don't even know their names. That's alright though. It was still pretty good. Up next: Nineteen Eighty-Four (or, 1984) by James Orwell.
I guess there's a teacher at my school who named their first kid after James Orwell because he loves his work so much.
Alright. I feel like I'm rambling. I'm done.
