Just wanted to drop a line to all my readers out there and say, "Thanks!"

Woah. Definitely just had Deja Vu. Weird. That's like the 3rd time today. I've also had the hiccups at least 6 times today. Coincidence? Yes.

Anyway. Today I went to Barns & Noble and bought The Road by Cormac McCarthy, 1984 (or, Nineteen Eighty Four, like it says on the cover) by George Orwell, and The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. Really looking forward to reading these books. I'm starting with The Road. I'm on page 30- something, and it's really good so far. My friend who read it in her English class said it was scary... then again, this is coming from the same girl who was afraid of seeing Voldemort's face in Harry Potter. Not bagging on her or anything, but, come on. It's Harry Potter.

I also got news yesterday that one of my favorite rappers is going on tour, and is doing a show in Omaha! Yeah. Who is that rapper? None other than the northwest phenomenon, Macklemore. (And Ryan Lewis, his DJ/tons of other things, and Blueprint, who's from Minnesota and is in the Rhymesayers.) I already saw Mack in October at a show that was supposed to be for college students only, and that was amazing. I have a feeling that this show where he's the headliner is going to be even more amazing. I hope he gets a good turnout.

Like I said, I already saw him in October. I still haven't gotten over the fact that I actually saw him in concert. It's just so surreal. Though, I have to say that I'm glad that we left a song and a half in to Big Boi of Outkast's show, because he was terrible. I mean, I love Outkast, but Big Boi should not be doing live shows. Hashtag justsayin, of course.

Anyway, if you haven't heard of Macklemore x Ryan Lewis, or Blueprint, or any other Rhymesayer/northwest Hip-Hop artists before, seriously check them out. Prepare to have your life changed.
